Who this South Korea visa service is for
Use this page if you need a South Korea visa from the United States. Each type has its own documents, processing time, and fees.
- Tourist visa — when a visa is required beyond visa-on-arrival eligibility.
- Business visa — meetings with company letter addressed to the Consulate of South Korea / Houston TX.
- Employment D9 — employment category with contract and credentials.
- Temporary work C4 — short-term work category with company registration and contract papers.
U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents can work with our Houston office. Non-U.S. citizens typically need proof of legal status in the United States (notarized Green Card copy, or a valid U.S. visa plus I-94).
Important notes
Sam’s Passport Inc. is a Licensed and Registered Company with the Embassy of South Korea.
U.S. citizens can often obtain a visa upon arrival at most major ports of entry for stays up to 90 days. If your trip still needs a visa filing, use the matching tab below.
Applications must be typed with no blanks. Photos: 2 passport-type images on a white background, no glasses, face in plain view.
Visa on arrival vs consulate filing
Travel sites often stop at “90 days visa free for U.S. passports.” We add the filing side for everyone else:
- Short U.S. tourist stays — visa on arrival may apply; confirm before you assemble a full packet.
- Business letters — address the guarantee letter to “Consulate of South Korea / Houston TX” on company letterhead.
- D9 / C4 work — expect resume/credentials, company registration, and contract letters beyond a tourist checklist.
- Health / bank proof — some categories still ask for yellow fever or multi-month bank statements; follow the tab list exactly.
