Competing visa sites usually separate India into “sticker” vs “eVisa.” We keep that split clear so you do not overnight a passport for an email-only file:

  • Sticker (tourist / employment) — physical passport, Houston jurisdiction rules, facilitator forms, and driver’s-license copy.
  • eVisa (tourist / business) — electronic path; typically 1 year with multiple entries. Use the Email your documents steps on those tabs.
  • Indian-origin naturalized U.S. citizens — may need school diploma, birth certificate, and a copy of the Indian passport in addition to the standard list.
  • Minors — extra parental signatures/notarization may apply; call before you assemble the file.

Naturalized U.S. Citizens who are of Indian origin, must provide School Diploma, Birth Certificate and a photo copy of his or her Indian Passport. (Please call for more information regarding India renunciation)

The Application Form should be printed on 2 separate sheet of paper, no front to back print out will be accepted.

Please make sure that the Application Form prints completely with the port of entry and exit completely printed at the bottom as well as the bar code.

A Business Letter of Guarantee is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

You must submit a Letter of Incorporation/Certificate of Business Registration from the inviting company.

Appointment letter in India

Minimum salary must be USD 25,000 per year with clear location of work.

Justification letter

A letter from the employer in India certifying that applicant is a skilled and qualified professional, technical expert, senior executive or in a managerial position. This letter should also justify as to how those kinds of skills are not available in India.

Contract letter

An employment contract, signed by the applicant. The letter must be detailed and comprehensive.

Copy of taxt liability letter

Tax liability letter is required for all the employment visa applicants. The letter must have a company letter head from India that states and certifies the following information:

Foreigners being hired will not exceed 1% of the total workforce. Within 1% it should not exceed more than 20 employees. In case the number of employees is within 1% but more than 20 employees, applicants would understand that there may be a delay in decisions made on the issuance of the visa.
