Outline
Looking for Brazil visa Houston help? Sam’s Passport Inc. is a licensed and registered company with the Brazilian Consulate. We prepare tourist, business, and work files in Houston — including consulate sticker visas (VITUR / VITEM) and electronic visas for eligible travelers — then return your passport by FedEx or local delivery when the consulate releases it.
Whether you live in Texas or ship overnight from another state, call (713) 784-5501 with your travel date so we can match the right path: e-Visa by email, or a Tuesday/Thursday consulate submission.
Who this Brazil visa service is for
Use this page if you need a Brazil visa from the United States. Each category has its own documents, fees, and timeline.
- Tourist VITUR — consulate tourist sticker when e-Visa is not the right path for your case.
- Business VITEM II — meetings and short business visits filed at the consulate.
- Work VITEM V — employment / technical work (including RN categories) with MRE-related paperwork.
- Tourist E-Visa — electronic tourist visa for eligible U.S., Canada, and Australia passport holders (email submission).
- Business E-Visa — electronic business visa for eligible U.S., Canada, and Australia passport holders (email submission).
U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents can work with our Houston office. Non-U.S. citizens typically need proof of legal status in the United States (notarized Green Card copy, or a valid U.S. visa plus I-94).
Important notes
Sam’s Passport Inc. is a Licensed and Registered Company with Brazilian Consulate. Consulate applications can only be submitted on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Effective April 2025, nationals of Australia, Canada, Japan and the United States need a visa to travel to Brazil for tourism or business. Many eligible travelers use the e-Visa path (documents emailed; visa returned by email). Others still need a consulate sticker filing — we will confirm which path fits your passport and trip.
Houston Consulate jurisdiction for many sticker filings includes Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Out-of-jurisdiction tourist sticker filings may incur additional service fees.
We FedEx or deliver your passport back to your address as soon as the consulate releases it. For e-Visa cases, the approved visa is typically emailed once issued — no passport drop-off is required when the file is fully electronic.
E-Visa vs consulate filing
Visa agencies and travel sites usually split Brazil into two tracks. We use the same practical split so you do not ship a passport when email scans are enough:
- E-Visa (tourist / business) — online application support, JPEG passport bio page and photo, itinerary or hotel proof, and Sam’s request form. Typical processing about 5 business days; expediting is generally not available. Government visa fee and our service fee are listed on the e-Visa tabs.
- Consulate sticker (VITUR / VITEM) — full paper file for Houston Tuesday/Thursday submission, including notarized jurisdiction proof and, for business, a detailed company letter of guarantee.
- Work VITEM V — not the same as a visitor e-Visa; technical categories (for example RN 61, RN 71, RN 99, RN 100) need category-specific extras. Call before you gather papers.
How the process works
- Confirm e-Visa or consulate
Tell us your nationality, trip purpose, and travel date. We confirm whether you need Tourist/Business E-Visa or a VITUR / VITEM consulate file.
- Complete the forms
Follow the online Brazil application steps (choose CIDADAO ESTRANGEIRO when the form shows Portuguese options). Download Sam’s Request Form and any sample letters linked in your tab.
- Email scans or ship to Houston
E-Visa: email the JPEG package. Consulate sticker: FedEx or UPS Priority Overnight to 1811 Bering Drive, Suite #100.
- We review and file
Sam’s Passport checks photos, letters, and jurisdiction notes, then submits on an eligible consulate day — or advances your e-Visa package.
- Passport or e-Visa returned
Consulate cases: we FedEx or deliver the passport when released. E-Visa cases: the visa is emailed once issued.
