Sam’s Passport Inc. is a Licensed and Registered Company with The Embassy of Tanzania.
We will FedEx or deliver your passport back to your address as soon as the consulate releases your passport to us.
There are different types of visas for Tanzania and each has its own requirements, processing time and fees. Please click on the visa type that fits your needs.
Tourist visa
Gather every required document below for this tourist visa. A missing item delays consulate filing.
Required documents
Use this list for the file. Non-U.S. citizens must add status documents with the passport.
Passport
Must be signed and valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay.
The applicant must submit either a
notarized Copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)
Visa application form
Minor Applicants Age 18 and under, parents need to provide a copy of the Minor’s Birth Certificate along with a notarized letter of support jointly signed by both parents or legal guardians agreeing with the trip and specifying who will be traveling with the child. Please provide copies of both parent’s ID’s.
Photos
Provide 2 color passport-type photographs with a white background.
- Size 2 × 2 inches, full face, plain white background with no shadows.
- Eyes open and looking at the camera; neck, chin, nose, forehead, both ears, and eyes must be visible.
- Natural expression with mouth closed, no smile or frown.
- No glasses, hats, scarves, or hair clips (religious or medical exceptions need a statement).
- Use printed photos from a reputable source, home or office printer copies are not accepted.
- Invalid format photos will be rejected and delay submission.
Proof of travel & Hotel reservation
Please provide a copy of your flight itinerary and a hotel reservation.
Health record
Please provide a copy of your yellow Fever Vaccination.
Business visa

Letter of guarantee
A Business Letter of Guarantee is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
“Consulate of Tanzania / Houston TX”.
The letter must clearly explain the purpose of travel; Guarantee financial support for the visit and return transportation; the letter should be signed by an officer or manager of the company, other than the applicant.
